The eventual processing of data of natural persons is used for the participation and the handling of the Baumit Life Challenge competition, an international architectural competition. The data will be used exclusively for this purpose.

Selected contents of the submissions will be published on the websites of Baumit Beteiligungen GmbH and its subsidiaries and also in the respective social networks and print media. In addition, the nominated content will be transmitted to Baumit Beteiligungen GmbH for the purpose of participation in the international competition.

Furthermore, the information contained in the privacy policy apply to the provision of the form and operation of the website.


Legal basis, revocation and erasure

The controller and the organiser have a legitimate interest (Art 6 para 1 lit f GDPR) in the promotionally effective handling of the competition. In addition, the applicant has a legitimate interest in increasing its brand awareness and market presence.

The erasure of the data takes place, as far as feasible, immediately after revocation by the data subject according to Art 21 GDPR, if the data subject is a natural person.

There is no legal and/or contractual obligation to process the data.

A disclosure of data to third parties does not take place, unless the issuance of data is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims before a court or public authority.

Furthermore, the person has a right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing as well as to data portability. If the data subject believes that the processing of their personal data is contrary to the data protection law or that their data protection rights have been violated, there is also the possibility to complain to the competent supervisory authority.
